For voting one should have his/her name registered in the voters list. The voters list can be obtained from your local election office or you can download from the Web also. To download the voters list from the web click HERE.
Voters card is not the only picture ID required to cast your vote, you can also carry any other picture ID issued by the Government of India like Passport, PAN card, Driving License.
