Tata Nano - Dream Car for Small families

Tata Nano which is priced at Rs. 1lac and on road prices will be in the range of Rs.1.20lac - 1.35lac. The engineers who have designed this Nano have promised stability with crash resistance. The booking for Tata Nano are handled by SBI with the initial payment or booking amount of Rs.70K. The booking starts in the second week of April 2009. At the moment Nano are produced in Pune & Uttarakhand from Tata Motor Factories and will move to Sanand Gujarat in 2010. Tata Nano is an alternative means of transport for families who are dependent on bike travel. The base model has the normal steering wheel (no power steering), roll down windows, no AC, and most of the external body is made of plastic.If you are car freak than I suggest to wait and watch before you make the decision. Once Nano is in the market I expect many modifications will be readily available in the market.
